Как задать дефолтную открытую вкладку в стиле Material Design

Здравствуйте, использую Material Design для создания табов/вкладок. На данный момент есть несколько активити, в одной из которых присутствует две вкладки. В другой активити есть две кнопки, по нажатию на которые в идеале должна открываться первая активити с выбранной вкладкой. Но к сожалению сейчас я не знаю как это сделать.

Это код активити с двумя вкладками:

Есть еще два файла, SlidingTabLayout и SlidingTabStrip, исходный код которых я взял на гитхабе

Из первой activity где две кнопки посылаете интент в который положите номер таба. Например первая кнопка - первый таб. В activity с табами достаете этот номер и для viewpager вызываете setCurrentItem(номер таба)
