Switch в ToolBar. Как устранить nullPointerExeption?

Получается я ссылаюсь на несуществующий объект? Как исправить?

mySwitch.setOnCheckedChangeListener(this);

Попробуйте вынести это в onCreate(), сразу после

 toolbar = (Toolbar)findViewById(R.id.toolbar);
 setSupportActionBar(toolbar);
