Чтобы центрировать содержимое Вам нужно применять margin: auto для дочернего элемента, который является прямым родителем содержимого. В то же время дочерний элемент должен иметь ширину меньше, чем у своего родителя, чтобы margin имел эффект.

Я добавил justify-items: center для дочернего элемента .container2, чтобы центрировать картинки, если вам нужно центрировать текст, то вы можете добавить text-align: center.
